Diseñada por Verner Panton en 1960, su producción en serie comenzó en 1967 en colaboración con Vitra. Fue la primera silla de plástico fabricada en una sola pieza. Desde su lanzamiento al mercado ha pasado por varias fases de produc- ción. A partir de 1999 fue posible fabricarla respetando fielmente la idea original: en plástico moldeado muy resistente, con un atractivo acabado mate.

Designed by Verner Panton in 1960, its serial production began in 1967 in collaboration with Vitra. It was the first plastic chair made in one piece. Since its launch on the market, it has gone through various stages of production. From 1999 it was possible to manufacture it while faithfully respecting the original idea: in highly resistant molded plastic with an attractive matte finish.
